I just bought a Coralife 05609 Aqualight Dual Linear Strip T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture for my tank. I want to try very easy corals and possibly anemones. Do you think this lighting can support things?
I mean he turns pure black. His fins dont move he just floats mostly upside down. Its happened many times before but today he just look especially dead so I thought id write about it here. Im not sure what to do lol
Well my girlfriend knowing I wanted one went ahead and bought me one for christmas -.-' so now Im stuck with one. If it gets that big - another LFS has a 550g tank with some soft shelled turtles so I can bring him there but how long will it take for him to grow more than a foot?
Everyday when I come home from school about 9 PM, I turn on my fishtank light (because I dont like leaving it on when im not home) and I notice my damsel is all black and doesnt move and is upside down floating. After the light is on for about 5-10 minutes the damsel turns his normal colors (4...
I saw some very small maybe 1" baby soft shelled fully aquatic turtles. I plan on buying one but I have no idea what they need. Do they need a heater? Tank size? Etc.. Thanks ! =]
Im thinking about setting up another 5g or 10g tank. What can I do? I do not like general fish like tetras, platys, bettas etc.. I want something abnormal like plecos, parrots, chichlids etc.. Thanks ! =]
Today I came home to discover my Huma Huma stuck in my LR. I tried everything to get him out but eventually had to break the rock open with a hammer and he came out ate some food and was fine, but I noticed he had a huge deep gash under his mouth most likely from the LR he was stuck in, but now...
The place that gave him to me said he ate krill and shrimp but I have been giving him pellets and he eats them without a problem even gets in there and steals from the others lol
I just found my trigger fish inside my LR but he didn't look good and I realized he was stuck in a peice of the rock so I was forced to break the rock and free him "/ this guy already lol
My LFS was giving away a 1 inch Huma Huma Triggerfish for free so I had to take it. Im sure it will need a much bigger tank when it grows but Ill be more than willing to upgrade but what I have no information on this guy. Any help?
Anything you can recommend that will stay small for atleast a half year to a year before I can upgrade to a much bigger tank? Maybe a blue tang? I was going to order from LA and they have tiny blue tangs for 20.00$? Suggestions? Thanks
Ive been doing that and the starfish is looking better. Does anybody know about anglers or a copperband butterfly fish? I really like them both so im wondering if I get them small enough can I add them to my 20L and then when they get bigger upgrade my tank?
Oh I dont trust them at all =] Hence why I double check everything here ! lol, but yeah when moving my 10g to my 20L, I did move the sandbed - I figured it would be good to mix old sand and new sand. Also tommorow Im going to get ammonia removal and get that cleared up
