Frosty, you should have seen the Dwarf Sag awhile back. It was getting ridiculous and I've removed enough of it to fill a gallon jug and either tossed it or replanted it in my 50g. It grows much slower in the 50g without co2. It is making a comeback in this tank, however.
Hydrophyte, I got the fish from Sachs Aquaculture. They've got a nice selection of native aquatic creatures and food cultures, etc. Of course, you could also collect your own natives but are limited by what species can be found in your local waterways. It is fun collecting your own, however.
