14k Lights on Ebay Express

The 14k's have more blue in it then my old 10k's. They really make some colors pop.. But then the darker colors really get dark as well.. Overall I do like the lights but am paying attention every day just to make sure I don't get anything like an unwanted algae bloom etc..

Well, my 20k came in today. Funny, the package said $2.50 shipping and they charged $10. That's ebay for ya, though!

Anyway, I turned my ballast off and installed the 20k almost immediately.

Honestly, I can't tell any difference in the color yet.

Maybe it needs a couple of days to 'blue up', but I don't really know.

I ordered the 14k's and noticed a huge difference in blue right away.. I haven't ever played with a 14k to 20k before so I don't know how much more "bluer" it is supposed to be.. Hopefully someone else who has changed from/to those spectrums will pipe up.
