since then, I've added 2 more small otos, being that the larger of the two I had in there died, he trapped himeself in a tight spot. I may remove the otos altogether if I set up a larger tank after christmas... but right now, the current stocking is
3 otos (1 is really young, the two others are juvenile but larger)
3 cherry male cherry barbs
1 harlequin rasbora (the biggest one I have, was too bossy in the other tank, is a hungry feeder but otherwise quiet in this tank)
1 mystery snail
2 large amano shrimp
3 crystal red shrimp (2 red, 1 black)
4-5 red cherry shrimp (various colorings, I'm sure there's at least 2 species)
and at least 6 malaysian trumpet snails
I also have reason to believe, but haven't seen him recently, that one of these also lives in the terrestrial landscape:
