I have applied the valuable knowledge bestowed upon me. I set my light timers for 12 hour split 4 on, 4 off, 4 on. I really need to trim the dead leaves...but I am starting to see new growth! Well the clover anyways.

Have snails? They might love the stuff. I put my snails where I want them to clean up stuff.

I have some MTS in my 30. But good luck finding them. LOL! I am hoping for some more MTS in the mail soon. I decided since I have a full co2 I would put the regulator back together with new Teflon tape. I am pressure testing now. I need a smaller filter too, it has displaced the substrate because the flow is too strong.

So last night after going to the drive inn to see the new x men and Godzilla movies, we got home at 2am. When I kicked on the room light on I saw my MTS snails where out! So I scooped 4 up and added them to this tank. I am not sure if it will be enough though. Thinking of buying a farlowella, but I don't know for sure if it will eat what I have. No worries when and if it clears the tank of algae it will be moved to my 30 temporarily then to the 75.

My otto cats went to town when I had the stuff on some new driftwood in my 20g and my BN pleco's did the same in the 90g. Once it is gone it's gone so what ever clean up crew you have in there you may have supplement if the won't get enough food.

Otto's at Petsmart (at least the one near me) are a buck a piece right now. Sale ends sometime in June (not sure when)
