That might be a little difficult as the are each just under 2' long.

The aim is not letting the wood dry. If this were me, I have a spare 20g tank for emergencies, I would simply put the wood in this and cover it with something as simple as saran wrap, or put this inside one of those black garbage bags. Or without the tank, the wood in the garbage bag on its own (no water).
