there you go again PB trying to trade. dang i hope them cyps get better. looks like you invested a small fortune in them. where do you get them wild caught from? and are they more expensive than captive breeds? is there a big difference?
Yes, I did pay a small fortune for them. They were very healthy when I got them, showing color and fluttering all around. They were doing so well in my importer's tank that I two of the females arrived holding eggs. I don't know what the heck went wrong but one by one they kept mgetting that skunken belly and wouldn't eat and then it was just a matter of time before I had to scoop them out.
It hurts to think how much I spent on those things. There is just something about my fish room that they just didn't like. I have heard that cyps "can be" very hard to keep and others have no trouble. A buddy of mine who got me started with cichlids (I condider him to be an expert among experts) he said he can never keep them alive either.
The cyps left over at my importer all continued to do good while mine all began kicking the bucket. Just something wrong with my fish room I guess. Couldn't figure it out.
