Alright, finally got the tank finished and she is moved in and loving it. I'm thinking about trying some ghost shrimp and maybe some gambusia. I think they're both small enough that she will largely ignore them, if she even notices them.

What the end of the room looks like now (compare to before I moved it in...)


The tank on the floor. Its on 1" foam.


Some inside views...I think it looks pretty natural in there.

wow, looks pretty solid. im gonna have to steal some of your ideas :) ps- that turtle is the coolest turtle ive ever seen. im not sure if thats saying much, but its pretty dang neat.

Thanks. Tank is still holding fine. I redid the cover and cut a hole in it for a little haul-out area for her. Other than that, not much to report.
