Aquascape isn't bad, but they're out-of-stock on most of the fish they have listed. There are plenty of dealers and individual breeders in CA, I see plenty of them listed on aquabid or other forums. I'm on the East coast though, so shipping isn't cheap. If you're close enough even priority mail will get them to you the following day.

For high-quality New World, CA and SA cichlids I highly recommend Jeff Rapps at www.tangledupincichlids.com I got 5 heros severus and 5 heros rotkeil last summer, quick shipping, well-packed, and they're all still healthy, growing well, and absolutely beautiful (lots of F1's and wild-caughts).
I've only bought fish from aquabid. Two good experiences so far. Just make sure to check the seller's reviews before bidding.
