Actually my boots will be going nowhere! I have to agree that the life cycle of that substance would be long over after 12 years, and if I indeed did get that after having it for 12 years what can really be done.
My father in law got a letter last week with 2 $100 bill thanking him for sending his shoes, and that they had to cut them up and could not send them back. It was in very broken english. I could not take a pic of it because they took it and the cash to the cops. It basically reiterated that there was much muslim terrorist activity in that area and that they tracked us down through the people we were working with there.
It also said that they were done their investigation. So I would assume that this little game is over and done with.
I do not think I will get any more letters though I will be hearing from the police in the next week or so as to what they found out. They did tell my father in law that they had some interesting video footage of stuff going on in the actual post office in regards to one of the boxes.
I will post something else up in another thread if anything else that is not actually joke material turns up.
Sorry for people taking me wrong in the whole thing, but I went to a very tough area did not broadcast what I was doing there to anyone while I was there or after I came back. So it was indeed of a great concern to me when this whole thing came about because someone sends a mystery letter claiming to be from csis. Made me indeed go on gaurd because I could have very much been tagged as a person of interest because indeed in that area of the philippines there are terrorist activities.
Philippino people I know in regina said I was either very stupid or very brave for going where I went. All I have to say is that I must do the works that I do to assist others in less fortunate places regardless! I just never expected that something like this would track back to my house in regina. And whoever was sending this letter knows a bit to much to be just a joker.
At any rate if the mods want to close this thread feel free, I would think that the only other thing that will come my way is something from the police or other source and as I said if it is not a joke worthy update I will post it.
