From what I have read, Farlowella fry are lazy and would prefer to starve to death instead of seeking out food. It has something to do with remaining still in the wild so they don't get eaten by bigger fish. Anyway, you essentially have to have the food float by them if you intend on having any success with Farlowella fry. I am hoping that a tank covered in algae will be enough for these 3 Farlowella to make it okay. Time will tell. Plus, I have another 40 eggs that will be hatching in about a week, so there will be even more of these guys in the tank if I can catch them when they are hatching.
