I think you're right coach...mine looks like tiny hairs attached to my plants. Since it looked LIKE hair I only assumed it was "Hair" Algae I will tank some pics when I get home. I trimed the Vals back, which are the most affected by this algae in order to remove as much as possible. Co2 is up and running again. I am also using an algae remover that states it resolves most algae.
What's, as far as removal, the difference between hair and bba

A liquid algae killer? Be very careful with those as they can kill plants and affect your cycle.

This ones STATES safe for aquarium plants, however if you have shrimp, crabs or Molisk (sp) they need to be removed for 24-48 hours.

Used this formula before with no issues, when I had green water.

But BBA does and that is what coach thinks I have
I am guessing you have bba from info but no pics. Never said that bba was related to nutrients. bba is related to co2.

Very interesting info about hair algae and low co2....i'll have to look into that more.
