Those first four shots, frost included, are from Walla Walla Washington. You are right about the precipitation, excuzzzeme. There was an inversion with a steady slow sinking fog. Temperatures were low enough that surfaces froze, some of them in airy frost. Any stretch of pavement not traveled over by cars became thick enough with ice you could have ice skated on. I made the mistake once during that time of riding my bicycle down the paved river walk. I don't think I could have walked it it was so slick, but centrifugal force was enough to keep me upright on the bicycle.
