Red slime algae is the one i have been battling since day one all my parameters check out my nitrates are almost zero phosphates are undetectable on the api test kit, ph 8.2, salinity 1024sg, photo period 10hrs, halides not even a week old but before the halide i had t5's which where only 6 mths old and as you can see from the photo above my substrate is quite fine.
