I like this thread. It taught me why not to believe in the WPG rule of thumb as a law. I originally thought my 55g tank with 108w t5HO over it was medium low but in reality it is medium high to high. This would explain why micro swords were growing in my tank until the cyano took over everything.

At least now I know that my 16w T8 fixture over my 10g is considered low light. I always wondered though why I still grew medium light plants in my low light set up but according to the ferts > CO2 > lighting case, I gave enough for them to grow.

I wish this chart was thrown around more when I started. It was intimidating knowing that to have a good planted tank you would need a $400 fixture over the tank just to have the "good" lighting using the WPG. Glad I read this thread.

victor regulator's are the best imo. I got the 99 cents regulator and it was a vts 252c regulator. It was originally used for hydrogen gas but i converted it to co2.

Concoa is another great brand. the concoa 312 are great regulators. I found a guy a week ago on ebay that agreed to sell me one for 45 dollars.

here is a thread i started a little while ago when i was first discovering pressurized co2. It might help you. Left c lists some models of great regulators you can get http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237145
Sweet! Thank you for the info! :)
