I went to both of my decent local fish stores. I found a light that made me drool. It has two T5s that go from light to moonlight and they total 130 watts. It's is silver with optional legs. The total is $129.99.

I think I may get it!!

Ottos like company. But I must say you are well stocked and have lots of bottom dwellers and algae eaters in there.

I was sort of joking about all the algae I might get with these lights.

You should see how round the ones I have are already.

I bought the light yesterday. Some are saying not to add ferts because I'll get a ton of algae.

"No ferts" was for 2 wpg or less. Your coming up to 2.4 wpg now. If you don't want to go to co2, you can try Flourish Excel. That, and your regular Flourish, and you may be ok. Monitor your nitrAtes though, and if they start dropping, let us know, that may be a sign that you are going to have to do something else, because if your plants are absorbing them quickly, they are absorbing the others as well. What is the kelvin rating of the bulbs in the new light?
