My 135 gallon tank story.... from start to never ending... <3

DunDunDun Duhh... **UPDATE!**
So Totem opened here today. I walked straight to the back and voila! There was sand. I talked to a salesperson who also has a tank ( suprise!)
And he said the play sand is safe, sterilized and free of chemicals like pesticides. ^.^
So I rinsed off the sides really good and began to fill the tank with sand and water. I dont know if you can see, but there is styrofoam underneath it to level out the tank in case of an "unlevel" floor. Im hoping that the tank doesnt leak *crosses fingers*.
I think it will be fine. The water is really mucky right now, partly because of the towns fault and partly because the sand is still settling...
I havent added anything to the water yet, im going to wait until tomorrow to pick up some prime... and hoefully dose my other tank with it too because its acting all funny.
So Im also going to pick up a master testing kit while Im at it, should I go with a marine test kit or freshwater?
Ive been told either or, but Id rather get the REAL answer from you smart people. lol.
Things to do:
-Pick up Prime
-Pick up some instant ocean (expensive!:thud
-Return aragonite and and use monies to buy master test kit
-Pick up Fluval u2 filter replacements
-Pick up some replacement stars for the Rena??
-Get decorations
-Buy amonnia
I think thats it... feel free to add to my list if you think I have forgotten something. lol.

I bought some prime, instant ocean, a saltwater testing kit, ammonia and i think thats it
So another heater is in the mail right now...
I was having a bit of an issue figuring out how much salt i should add to get to 1.005, but i got it figured out.
2 hours later and almost losing my relationship later...
Tank is set up.
Canister filter running fine.. water clearing up quite well.
Im planning on making some decorations quite soon.

As well, Im doing my testing with an API master sw kit.... they didnt have any freshater kits, as they sell them on custom order (?!?!)
anywho, it would take 3 weeks... and im not leaving water in my tank for 3 weeks.. sitting... so i got the sw... the girl at the store was really helpful, has a brackish tank and said it should be fine

I found out 3 capfuls of ammon. brings me up about 1 ppm in my tank * happy dances* so now it comes to the waiting after i regulate it later on tonight...

Added one capful of ammonia
A= Btwn 3-4 ppm
Nitrites= 0 ppm
SG=1.004
Ph= 7.8
Temp= 84.9 f
Day3
Before adding- Btwn 2-3 ppm
Added NONE
Nitrites= 0.25- 0.50 ppm
Day 4 ( 3-4 plants added)
B4 add= 2 ppm
Added 3 capfuls of ammonia
Ammo: Btwn 2-3 ppm
Nitrites: Btwn 1-2 ppm
Day 5
B4 adding= 0.5- 1 ppm
Didnt add any due to high Nitrites (oopsie)
