checked my parameters again to make sure before my inverts arrive tomorrow...
ammo - 0
trites - 0
trates - 40
that is still with a horribly rotten shrimp in the tank...
tonight I am going to remove that and do a large wc before they arrive tomorrow...
i went with the reef diversity pack from etropicals.com

I wish they didn't sell packs like that. The coral banded might eat your peppermints or they'll hide all the time so they aren't eaten. 10 ceriths should be fine but a Queen Conch shouldn't be in a 30g. And yikes that is an awful lot of hermits for a 30g as well. Unfortunately expect some die offs from some of that crew, it is unlikely there is enough to sustain them.
thats quite alright... i know there will probably be some die off.. but for the price with overnight shipping it rally couldn't be beat... i want a clean aquarium... i am willing to have some die off at the beginning, but overtime im sure the numbers of inverts will reach the optimum level..

They get to be about 12" so yes, too big for a 30. Three of them being recommeded for a 30-55g is irresponsible in my opinion.
i wonder if i can take them to my LFS and trade them for something...
well i did my large WC and while i was at it i couldn't resist changing the aquascape up a bit... the water got sooo cloudy and dirty... but it clearned up better than it was before...
i also went and got some chaeto for my sump/refugium...
im already for my cleanup crew to start doing work on the tank...
ive also started to have some sort of stiff, stalky like algae growing in a couple places from some of the rock... but only visible if i look really hard...

i acclimated them to the new water and put them in the tank...
everything is up and running around my tank!! they were all soo much smaller than i had imagined...
a couple of the Astraea Snails didn't budge when i put them in the tank though... maybe they were just a little stunned after their journey...
hopefully when i return back to my house tomorrow all of them have moved!!!
ill get some pics of everything and the new 'scape soon!!

3 blue/green reef chromis
1- ocellaris clown
1 - coral beauty angelfish
1 - citrinis clown goby
would this be too much??
i kinda want to substitute a six line wrasse for the 3 blue/green reef chromis
4 fish instead of 6...
sounds better to me.. what do you guys think?
