I'm going to ask my plant club about your staurogyne bihar. Just to double check you don't have co2 & what's your ferts like? I don't like to ask if I have no chance of keeping a plant but my club is pretty casual.

No C02, I can't wrap my head around that stuff.

But I do use fertilizer. I use a Canadian brand by a small business. The Plant Guy's All in One low tech version.
I find it comparable to NilicG Thrive in results (have used that prior before trying this one). Shame it can't be shipped to USA though.

I do a 3x a week dosage though for the tank the bihar is in just because it has a heck ton of fast growing plants.

I gave trimmings to a friend who has low tech setup too and his is doing good in his low tech tank too. He uses ferts, unsure on exact kind though.

Yeah, I see, lol. I'm going to the newish lfs next week to see if he'll host our plant club again soon...& if he has or can order sarawaks. His suppliers are likely the same as all my area lfs. Maybe on a different ordering schedule? I may try to play my old lady card It works sometimes for heavy lifting, so maybe for fish ordering?

Had to redo the kids guppy tank... he accidentally fed them a full bottle of food and it was a nightmare to clean up lol so redid it.
