need help with starting a planted 36 gallon bow front aquarium

If I get two 48 watt systems will that be too much light or since my tank is 20" tall will it be fine. It seems like most carpet plants require more light than 1.33 WPG

I have personally got a planted 36g bowfront, for lighting I have The 30" model of these. it works just fine, not terribly high light, watts per gallon are pretty much bogus anyway.
