It's pretty hit or miss when you try for a pair. I had one pair raised from juveniles that wanted to kill each other and I had another pair that would die rather than to be separated. I still would not do more than 1 Oscar per 65 gallons of water - doing 2 in a 75 is asking for problems. They are messy fish between the poop and the food.

You should be good with a pleco, just make sure you get him big enough so that the oscars can eat him in a couple bites. LoL

Oscars are cichlids, that means they will become a friend or an enemy to a Pleco, I suggest getting a large Pleco with a smaller Oscar so the Oscar is friendly early on. If you let the Oscar bully the Pleco early on guess what's going to happen when it's 15 inches big.....

Ehh yeah nvm I won't add a pleco ill just do a single oscar, just hope I don't get bored with 1 fish but everyone says they are awesome :)
