I wasn't too thrilled, but this was not my fault so I don't have the guilty conscience had it been something I could have prevented. Of course I didn't want it to die, but it was certainly out of my hands. Things need to stop dying in my presence.
Edit to add: wow, within 5 minutes of emailing liveaquaria's customer service, I got a response with credit to my account and an option to call to get it back on my credit card. I don't even have to send the remains back in or further prove the death. Pretty nice to have fast customer service like that.
