I'd give it a week or two before you put anything in the tank. Let the rock you bought seed things. Nothing good happens quickly in sw tanks. What ever happened to your lr experiment?
The rocks are seeded, but I don't think it is "live" There is some algae on them though.

Looks cloudy then usual.

I'd do a double check test. Please post the results :)

I'm always skeptical of those bacteria in a bottle. So I can't say anything about that. Mixed reviews hah.

The reason why it was cloudy was because a few minutes before I took the pics, I got some of the sand off the rocks using the power head. I'm skeptical about the BB in a bottle also, we will find out tonight :)

Congrats on the startup!

Your rock looks to be fairly solid. This will limit the bilogical capacity of the tank. Don't rush to stock and don't overstock.

Thanks, I agree, the rock is pretty solid. I may have to get some more LR or dry rock.

By Saturday I think I'll just get some hermits and snails, nothing too big.

Ahh okay. Them powerheads haha!

I honestly say snails would be fine but. I'd say no to the crabs/inverts
