Oh, and my pleco was rehomed today. Hi new owner was super nice and seemed really concerned with getting all the right stuff for him, so I know I did right by him. She knew he would need driftwood and vegetables. She said she didn't want to buy a smaller one, because she was worried her other fish would harass it, and buying a bigger one was a bit of a luxury she couldn't afford so it worked out great for everyone involved. wheew.

Lol wow you're lucky to find someone that would deeply care for a common pleco. Most people either euthanize them, dump them into a river or lake, or "donate" them to a pet shop.

Also clown plecos require wood in their diet.

Which is why I was so picky. I offered him for free on craigslist, but I made them tell me in detail about their tank and how they cared for it.

Where could I get a farlowella? And why is one place selling it for http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=830+1162+940&pcatid=940 50 dollars and another selling it for http://www.petsolutions.com/default.aspx?ItemId=48040&EID=48040&SID=FROOGLE 5?

My son and I both like this fish. He likes it because it looks a bit like an alligator. Do you think a farlowella would get along with one of the smaller plecs?
