You can probably pick one up for 10 bucks at salvation army or goodwill (mine came from someone who got it that way). Used is probably better than new.

Chemical treatment might be a recent development and is possible that older liners either have none or has been rendered ineffective. I think you will be OK if you add Prime to dechlor. The pool size you listed will probably hold ~2000 gallons.

I have been thinking of doing the same so let me know how it goes.
