the females are slightly less vibrant and have the shorter finnage yes, still quite lovely.

My hsuband hates to work with wood, he prefers metal so I am sure he will be pleased to hear people weren't snickering about his handiwork :D

i just can't wait to add the daphnia and the fish, lol. I have been procrastinating on getting this done since spring.

You need to send those Minnows south when it gets cold up there in PA. That is what happened to me, I got old and moved south from that cold state three years ago. The White Clouds would love it down here in the winter. lol

Yes... they probably would prefer southern Winters... and in the summer- you can collect fresh boiled fish straight from your deck. ;)

Probably need a deep pond to survive the summer here.
