Many of the more noxious soft corals should be fine, but the Arothron species have been documented with Acropora growth tips in their stomach. They seem to like at least some stony species, which is why I think it may be more of a risk with those types of corals. In fact, I included some Acropora skeletons, some with a living tissue that I missed, and the puffer enjoyed it. It was mainly an attempt to grind the fused teeth.
