What else can I add?

I have 2 tanks, one is fully stocked and can't fit anymore fish, even though most are small. I wouldn't dare put more fish into it.(which is my 55g) I need help wondering what else I can add to my 37g. Currently there's 2 Bolivian Rams, 1 skittish Gold Gourami, 6 Albino Corys, 8 Pearl Danios (had 8 Zebra, but those died in 3 days) and a butterfly loach. Should I up the school of danios or can I add some platies?

I would add a school of fish for the middle of the tank.

Because of the footprint of a 37 gallon being the same as a 29 gallon. I'm inclined to agree with Mark, you're likely fully stocked.

When that gourami is fully grown it will run the tank and it's aggression alone won't allow you to add anything else.

I'd want to know why the zebra danios died first. They're about the toughest fish around IMO.

Everytime I get Zebra Danios they always die on me. Never had them long, they weren't sick or anything. Eating normally everything I fed them. Could of been bad stock.

I might rehome the Gold gourami, he's always hiding. He was in my 55 and was beaten by my angel, so I moved him to the 37. Might switch for a Pearl Gourami.

I miss having a Pearl Gourami, very pretty fish. Don't get as big as the gold and won't be aggressive. I also might see the pearl more then the Gold I currently have.

I think some nice mollies or platies would be a great idea, but I'm also impartial to guppies. Very nice fish, and they excel in large aquariums.
