They get around 10". I'm keeping them with 9 clown loaches as well, both are peaceful so they should not have any issues.

The one in the pic is a hybrid. There are a lot of hybrids but the two I got are the real deal.

I'm hoping so, that will justify a 180+ :)

I am selling the Pictus though, it is not worth the hassle. Supposedly they are active, I never see him unless he is chasing the clown loaches. Since the Clown's are my main fish he's going.

Pictus are typically active, at least in my experience. However, they're most active in groups. If you have a single one, that's likely to be part of the problem.
