Otocinclus vittatus

The Petsmart near me has them for $1.50 a piece. Remember that they are considered to be a fragile species and do better when they are in small groups.

I agree with getting oto's. They do prefer groups though.

Pygmy cory cats (Corydoras Pygmaeus) are wonderful, stay under 1" long. You'd need a group of at least 3. They're wonderful fish for a peaceful community. Any of the Otocinclus cats are also perfect, they get slightly larger, around 1.5", I'm sure you could get away with just having two though they prefer to be in groups.

Well I was planning to get 2 otocinclus. Here's what I want:

4 Neon Tetras
1 male betta
2 Dwarf ottos

It'll work.. RIGHT?

Yes, and I've seen them at petsmart too for around $1.50. They do have fancy striped ones too if you look for them (haven't seen them except in photos though).

I think those are called zebra otos, but I've never run across around my parts. But they are cool looking.
