Pygmy cory cats (Corydoras Pygmaeus) are wonderful, stay under 1" long. You'd need a group of at least 3. They're wonderful fish for a peaceful community. Any of the Otocinclus cats are also perfect, they get slightly larger, around 1.5", I'm sure you could get away with just having two though they prefer to be in groups.

Well I was planning to get 2 otocinclus. Here's what I want:

4 Neon Tetras
1 male betta
2 Dwarf ottos

It'll work.. RIGHT?

I may have missed this, but what size aquarium? What you have planned will do fine in 10 or more gallons.:)

Yes, and I've seen them at petsmart too for around $1.50. They do have fancy striped ones too if you look for them (haven't seen them except in photos though).

I think those are called zebra otos, but I've never run across around my parts. But they are cool looking.
