bring at least twice as many bags as you have fish. that way you can double bag. this is important especially with larger fish, especially cichlids, which can easily shred through regular fish bags if they get spooked.

I counted seven fish you'll be getting. I'd take 14, plus some extras in case one leaks or rips on you, or you go home with something extra.I am going to bring like 12 big bags.

I am getting them from someone I know... so I'll just transfer them the way he does.If you are getting fish from the auction they will come bagged. If you are getting them from someone you know who is also going to the auction I would transport them the same way they are transporting them. Just a thought.
I agree that you should have somewhere adequate (at home) to put them before you get them.
