This has to be the busiest first day ever.

Newbies really need to read a little bit more of the old games. I also am a little uneasy about someone being 100% positive that someone (let alone two people) is mafia at this point and willing to die for it.

Where is judgemax? I hope she has a reason for her lack of posting.

I have read alot of the old games, and watched the traits that are displayed in them and this has helped me to be firm in my accusations. Why else would DP have only of made what? 4 posts since the start, including one about some bagels and saying that nothing important is going on, and what happened to Ice? He seems to have fallen silent also. And I was not originally willing to die to prove their guilt, this developed as more and more people starting voting to lynch me and I felt it was becoming a sure thing. Now thankfully I think people are starting to get intune with my thinking and strategies and starting to see the light.

I am 100% sure someone will be lynched tonight.
I am 33% sure they will be Mafia.

If I could get everyone to go along with it I'd say a true random vote has as much chance of hitting a Mafia as our conclusion based vote. About 33%. The reason the Town never gets a Mafia on Night 1 is because we overthink things and the Mafia just has to sit back and let us do it. It nearly never requires any input from them. In the past two game I played I noticed that the Mafia were usually one of the first few to post. They play along, have fun, and hardly ever point fingers on Day 1. Low impact.

What worries me about Mike is that Mike is SOOO out there that it just seems impossible that he is a Mafia. So the question of allowable losses comes into play. Can I vote for someone I don't feel strongly about if that person wears slightly on my patience? Warm bodies are warm bodies, this is a numbers game after all. Remember Nola in Round 4, he didn't seem Mafia at all to me but people voted him out because they didn't like his play style. That is also why I don't like jl's Day 1 vote plan where he always votes for the first roleplayer. All it is going to take is a few Days for the Mafia to cut us down if we go at each other. I wonder is it is better to lynch no one when there is such a large portion of Power Roles?

I am not getting in tune with your ideas Mike. I would just rather keep a Newbie with a big head over lynching one and giving the Mafia a larger stake.

I thought of lynching no one also, but can we be sure everyone would agree to it for one, and also... would a another day of talk really help make anyones mind up as to who to vote for? Would lynching no one not help the mafia out a little? Atleast if we lynch someone as you said, its a 33% chance... if we lynch no one its 0% chance.

In a game with 7 mafia we need to have a go...and the odds of getting one are higher than they've ever been.

I'm tempted to go along with ZS' idea of random votes tonight...but it is hard not to vote for Mike...there is only the outside possibility that it would be a very bad move for the town that stops me.

Again, the same people have been posting all day, nothing has really 'happened'.

I vote to lynch Judgemax.

She is the only player that hasn't posted yet and if she doesn't vote she will befall a Mysterious Death. If she is Mafia, good, if she is a Townie we could lose two or three Townies tonight depending on how we vote. By voting JM out we negate one needless Innocent death. If she shows up I will revoke this vote.
