Mafia 9: The Bloody Coup

Why didn't Sov say anything about Z pointing her out. even though they were weak cases...and for CS agreeing with him...and for the vote Z did on her....

that has me a little concerned also...and if Emma doesn't show up at all tomorrow, we really need not waste a vote, for she will have an untimely death anyway...just wanted to get that out there before anyone starts the wagon on her....it would be fruitless.......

Alright this is really weak but it is the best case I have been able to make so far. I am eager to hear Sovran's response. /quote]

I'd like to see the response to this as well. I always suspect you Z (along with a few others) though.

I'm still gonna assume the person who has the role of president has some wits about him or her and is not in danger of being lynched. I think if it came to that the bodyguard would try to steer us CC's in a safer direction. I still think it's important that we vote. However I will consider a no-vote if enough ppl that are trustworthy promote that route.

Who at this point in the game is "trustworthy"? I'd like names and reasoning.

Well we have until 10pm tonight to come to some sort of consensus, and the odds are pretty good at making a decent choice - 50/50 starting off are the best odds we've ever had of getting a bad guy on the first night I think.

However, one thing I just thought of...if both teams somehow manage to coordinate their voting, we're going to have a very tough time of keeping control of lynchings, since we're starting out with even numbers from the get-go. Man Ice, you really made this one into a thinker. I like it.

Just got a quick review...long work day....But, Sploke...could you clarify for me on this....I can read it two ways.

In previous games, a few Mafia could swing a lynch easily and could control the them when they outnumbered the Townies.

I don't think I have ever seen the townies control the lynchings until late in the game.

Just hoping it isn't a slip on your part....

Well if we look at past games the idea of voting no one has be brought up several times, but we saw an example of this when the doc saved mike in a previous game. Mike wasnt lynched so no information was gained, to me that proves that voting no one doesnt help anyone but urself.

Emma we got lucky with DP when he didnt post last game, but she hasnt played before so complete wild card.

as of right now im goin to redirect my attention to

jpappy-post very positive up beat messages but not much else

mad-ur avatar......to obvious to be a hint but i think works well to confuse and distract ppl. just enough to hesitate on votes/

emma-wont vote her but she needs to post soon, or atleast email ice

As always regardless of the game style I think a vote for no one is a vote for the enemy. Votes are our number one source of information. Anyone who doesn't vote is very suspect to me, whether that be a missed vote or a formal "I vote for no one".

I agree whole heartedly!

Here is my list, with general comments -

Charlie - role player, caught on the game real well, good player - 4
Cory Lover - loose cannon, experienced player, not always civic minded - 5
KOTD - experienced player, defensive, has been lynched for being too vocal and for being too quiet - 6
Deputy - newb to me, I have not seen much input in past games - 5
Lady G - newb to me, seems vocal in last two games - 5
Rbishop - newb, died early first time playing, way into the games, expect him to be vocal, could be "gun shy" - 4
Ogre - experienced player, can be vocal, likes lists, into the games, good or bad, will be involved - 5
JohnLarson - experienced player, follower, can be tricky, almost tricked mee-mee and plantling to not vote for him, when he was mafia - 5
DD - experienced player, does not always follow the town, always a good suspect, should be watched - 5
Zsand - experienced player, good at lists and following voting patterns - 6
Bkw - experienced player, not too vocal after game 2, has had power roles and has been civic minded, reads and studies post - 6
Mad - experienced player, seems like a target at times, posts are mostly helpful - 5
emmadavis - newb, lack of any posting has me concerned, being quiet does not mean they are guilty - 5
Jpappy - vocal player, not sure of some of the "tactics" used, should be watched - 5
Hooked Newbie - seems to get killed early, no real read - 5
Joander - vocal player, should be watched - 5
Mee mee - role player, always civic minded, experienced player - 4
Sploke - not real sure - 5
Plantling - role player, good player, has good insight, in one of the games named all mafia members- 5
Sorvan - newb to me, has played well in past - 5

This list is kind of a joke at this point of the game. Most everyone is a five. On my list 1 is a rebel, 10 is a concerened citizen. Way too early for a scaled list, but I wanted to share my starting point.

My 4's could be 5's or even 6's and vice versa.

As far as people having a read on someone at this point, I just do not see it. It is a day to learn. I do like how some people react when voted for, but it is hard to learn much from it.

My vote stays for now.

Nice generalization of character, jl66.

Yeah that weirded me out as well. She acknowledges reading to post 230. Kudos for not being overly defensive of my weak case but she could at least acknowledge it, I really am interested in the response i get.

Wouldn't it be wise for the Rebels to stop a train on her to ensure two CCs went away....???

Unless it took a long time to write her post, something like 20 minutes, it seems as if she would have seen it.

Then again, maybe she knows the implication does not have any eventual threat to it....
