Mafia #14 -- The Play

I think I explained the Ogre part already. I still have reservations about him too. That post just sticks out to me.

Blue, well I've pretty much had her on my list from the start.Then after DD and LG come out she is asking who is the DR. Just my feelings Jenson, just like my feeling on you moved up with this post. Just something wrong about asking if I vote for such and such will it get you off my back

Ok, I answered this when I responded to Mad. I would like the mafia to be investigated/raked ove the coals/stung up on Bala - not me. Aside from honest, real time reactions to LadyG and Mad, I can't see a good case against me.

Jensons it's not that I don't WANT to investigate you, there are more dangerous players if mafia, I would like to look into first, thats all. I am not taking focus off of anyone, I do not want ppl to change who they are looking at, and I sure DO NOT want anyone to stop building cases...on nights I get an innocent (like tonight) we will still need to decide who to vote off, with out the 100% knowing. I'm just happy I have a mafia with the first investigation, so we can start the process of elimination.
I hope this makes since.

Ok, it makes sense. I do ahve to admit a bit of wtf? at not being considered a scary player, but as an innocent this game, I guess I can't complain.

Unless G was on the same team as me.... I just want it known that G and I have had a disagreement on the chat board and this is why she has come out claiming detective. She outed me because she was mad at me. She is Mafia too.

This is DD responding to Mad, who was questioning me. I am caught wondering whether her (dd's) "hmmmmmmmm" is trying to cast doubt on me (would make me un-mafia, if she in fact is, as it makes sense that she would want to drag a few innocents down with her) or if she is just being coy and cute, trying to make LadyG look bad.

I will try not to make this too long of a post. I wanted to get my list of who most likely mafia, once (or if) DD is found to be mafia.

This list is in the order of the posts I am using to back me up.

Jensons - this post was right after the day had started, instead of discussing Lady G's claim to be the Detective, she wants to go on a wild goose chase of who lynched DJ and then wants to know how many "townies" she can count on. Well he has not told us any counts before, why would he now. I find this post very suspect.

I see why Lady G has her as a suspect. I hope she is investigated soon.

When have I not played with my honest emotions jl? Even when I have been mafia, I try not to lie too much. Life is too short to lie, even in a game. ( i know, maybe I shouldn;t be playing then, but I've been pretty successful in the past.) I had thought that some mod for the games used to give us counts of how many of each team were left. Maybe I was wrong. AND, a look at who made a really good case of DJ might very well be worthwhile. Investigate away! Hehe, it would be a first if I were lynched this game.

like the list ice but I would not have ogre that far up imo. I think he is mafia but I am more sure about Cl and Jensons.

Why?

I do believe that everyone is quiet capable if the have a question regarding a quote to go back and read the full post, that is if they arent skimming and are really looking for clues. Do you not have this same capability?

I often wonder this myself. People see what they want to, and ignore what doesn't fit in with their preconceived notions.

Ok, that's all for now. I want to think ahead and vote for someone tonight that i feel is mafia, and who is not DD. After all, we learn nothing if we all vote for the same person.

Again, I understand questioning me..especially by those who thought I was mafia and vise/versa. But these theories are really just :screwy: and I mean that in the nicest way.

Morning all! Well, I guess night is drawing near, so I vote to lynch DD. How can you not when they're running around yelling "I'm mafia!!"?

OK, here're some thoughts to mull over:

What if: DD is the det, and LadyG is the doc, and this is a ploy to draw out mafia?

If it is, it's failing miserably.

What if: they are both on the same mafia team, and one really is a scarificial lamb? This could work if the teams are uneven.

Doesn't seem likely, with DD now pointing at Lady G.

What if: we are truly on a road to nowhere. People don't believe that rb cast the roles randomly. Could he have tweaked the game in a way that there is really no way for a team to win?

Sure, why not? He can always have the undeniable excuse that he randomised it, after all, no one caught him picking roles, did they?

What if: the Doc is mafia, too?

Docs are always innocent.

What if: last night's save was made by the Thief, not the Doc?

If you hadn't noticed, someone else noticed that way back, but then someone quoted RB saying that the would-be victim was "greatful for the doctor's help" or something along those lines.

Just some thoughts I had while sitting with my friend in the chemo room today. I will address accusations against me soon.

Ok, Ogre I am sorry if I didn't give you enough time to respond. Really I was talking about earlier in the game when you stated this (remember when, DD, blue and then Cl joined in to jump all over me), you said how she has been so helpful this game...I asked how, you never responded.
Now that she has been brought out as the Don, you again state she has been more helpful so again I asked...still waiting for you to show me where btw.
But thank you for responding at least.

Please find my original statement where I said DD seemed helpful. I'm sure it was waaaaay before you came out. Remember that we all that charlie and DJ were mafia too.

What? How would this work. I agree that getting one of our two power roles lynched is a cunning plan, but I'm not sure it's optimal. <sarcasm, for those questioning my loyalty>

Maybe. At this point, either way, we get a real mafia tonight and the real detective would be investigating the other tonight. Then the real detective could come out and we could fight about which is the real det. Either way tonight works for us.

With DP, I have everyone except brandy (Jensons) on DD. Why hold out? I would submit to add Jensons name to the possible mafia list for this reason and that some of the quotes above are just plain nutty.

You know, I was going to tear this post down but I see its been done numerous times.

I just want to say if this isn't proof enough that your mafia then nothing is.

At this point why even try to talk your way out.

My favorite scenario was the 1st one. I laughed so hard my wife thought I had a flashback. The DR is getting the Detective lynched to draw out mafia :rofl:

Jensons just cemented , pardon the pun, herself in my book.

Any other mafia want to come to DDs rescue? I still need 3 more names to round out the 8.
