Grins' 55g Reef

Read the Whole Thread! **** didnt do nothingall day so far at work. ohh well.
I have a 120gal with about 40lbs of lr in it i just wish it was a slim tank and not a wide one!. But your canopy looks good!

Now i am thinking of building one like that in mine but dont know how long i plan on living there... thats the only thing.
I do own the house though

I picked up 4 more peppermint shrimp last night in the hopes that the other 2 might be more inclined to go after aiptasia if they had more security in numbers. Great news, I think that they dined on at least one last night! I'm going to take it as a sign of progress on the tiny little pests I keep seeing pop up. If I'm wrong I'll deal with it later but for now I'm going to live in the illusion that they are going to keep them under control.

I also have something to show you, go on over to the blog to meet Honda.

LOVE HIM... Looks like you will have hours of fun snapping pic's of him..

I can't wait to get my scooter.. But I do have a new friend that made it out of QT myself.. Acclimating him to the tank as we speak..

I did the same thing yesterday.. I also moved my CBS to the refugium.. So hopefully they have numbers and feel safe.. I however am also thinking about doing a major re-arrangement of my rock and finding the bigger ones that are making all of the flippin' babies.

I got a couple yesterday on the bottom side of a rock that I attached that new coral to.. They just grow anywhere.. Even on rock that is on the bottom of the pile.. Sheesh.

Eh, I need to figure out the manual focus settings on the camera so it does what I want to first. And I want to see this new friend.

Yep, and they are just bleached looking. Grrrr. Max once told me that the big parent could be deep inside a rock and you'd never see it.
