OK, after what happened last night I feel the best way for me to help find mafia is to go back to square one. No matter what anyone believes right now I sincerely thought Mal was a Don and JM was looking like her pick. I don't want to continue down the same path so I'm going to try to look at things with fresh eyes.
However, I appreciate that although that is my plan others have their own and still have suspicions about me. To leave those unaddressed would only be helping mafia so here goes my answers on the reasons I've seen people give for thinking I'm mafia. If I have missed something I invite you to please ask what you'd like.

- I can understand why this was said around the time that Joander first brought it up but for anyone to still think I've not been trying to root out any suspects means they are ignoring posts where I have listed my thoughts on people and explained why I thought what I did. They would also be ignoring questions I've asked of people and answers I've given to those asked of me. Yes I've had fun in playing the game, I'd hope we all do to some extent or we should perhaps all step away from future editions.

- I can't possibly address this issue except to guess I'm off because I'm sick. If you sincerely think it is something more than that please at least give me (and the rest of the town) the courtesy of trying to pinpoint it so that I can answer it for everyone. I'm not saying everyone that has said this is guilty, but I think we've all seen that when someone says this mafia will often jump on claiming a gut feeling because they know they can plant doubt without having to back it up.

- Maybe this meant I didn't freak out when questioned about the Ogre thing? If so I simply didn't need to. If JM hadn't of gone wiggy (to use Mad's word) on us I doubt anything else would have been said by anyone until Ogre had come in to answer it. Most of the posts then were in trying to explain Ogre's leaving off the word "just". I believed then that it may have been a typo sort of oversight (shoot we all know I make them don't we?) but I'd have been a pretty bad townie to not consider what Cory had brought up. And I'd have been even worse to not address JM's behavior during that time.

- First of all thank you for the compliments. Although I do have to laugh a little bit at the irony of me being thought of as a power player probably has to do with how I have played an aggressive game since knowing full well my newbie card was expired after the first game. I'm being damned for playing as I did when an innocent. If I played any less of an aggressive game I'd probably be damned for changing my style.

- Again, I've always done this. Why wouldn't someone ask others in the game about the style of those they haven't played with before? I'd be negligent to not do so. And Mad, as for why I didn't ask others about the credibility of King's style at the same time...I'd have thought that obvious due to all of us (well not Mal) knew without a doubt that King was 100% innocent at that time. He had credibility in other words.

- Well I guess this one negates me being a powerplayer, because if I have learned anything at all about playing this game it is that someone like Ice would be investigated or hit the first night. So would Hooked, Mad, or DD. If I had been a don there is no way I'd have jeopardized numbers by picking someone so likely to get hit or investigated. Sincerely, give me a little credit. If I had been a Don I'd have picked someone middle of the road that I knew but might not be quite so high on everyone else's watchlist.

- I've seen this same type of error unfortunately be jumped on in the past and I supsect all that have played before have as well. My first game as a member of the Grinch team we mafia all jumped on DD about it to make her look guilty to the town..she was Santa by the way and the error was nothing more than an error. I did not post emails and I instead posted quotes from posts. That is clearly in evidence as the trail of posts would show. I've also never communicated with a team member via email in the game. Nor have I ever communicated what I would say via email in a game (except to a game mod when I was given a power role)

- No, I was suggesting that questions about the email thing above be addressed to people other than myself if i wasn't being believed. People in the current game that would have knowledge of past play as a communicating team would again be Blue, Clown, Hooked, Ice & JM. I risk one of them being mafia and twisting the answer but I'm having some faith they can't all be mafia and their replies would be kept honest due to that.

- I really don't see why this is believed. I've voted for my own reasons and I've certainly not switched willy nilly on my votes. In fact, if anything I've been accused of having tunnelvision. And that I won't defend because while I had reason to believe those I suspected at the time I do have to agree my vision has not been broad enough in this game.
OK, I think that was the basic consensus of those that expressed a reason for why they suspected me. For the mafia members reading this, yes jump up in glee that I've just basically presented a case on me if you wish but people are not stupid and they'll see anything that looks shifty on your part. So if you wish to go after me have at it but bring your A game.
To everyone else, I'm now going to go back to nightfall and catch up and see what I can do to help sort out who is who.
