Mafia #26: Roadside Picnic the Game

That Nightfall was incredibly satisfying. Yay us! =) Grace, thank you ever so much for slipping up for us. I do hope that you will play again, afterall you aren't the first "scum" to give themselves away.

My scumdar is going off on Beth (there's alarm bells ringing from her for me, but I can't quite nail it. I went back and reread her posts and there really isn't too terribly much substance to go on. I can see what appears to be her throwing around names of people that others mentioned as suspicious, defending newbies, and trying to look helpful when she's not really contributing anything)...but that's just what I see, it could be that she's just a follower and prone to going with the flow to stay in the game longer...I am not familiar with her style, which makes it difficult for me to be sure.

My theory at this moment is that Ice is an innocent, and LG is a stalker and she's following him around. I also am inclined to believe Jensons is innocent, and LG is trying to distance herself and latch onto Ice.

This other new person, Enya, I am still concerned about that vote on Ogre after most people backed off since the case against him was proven to be invalid. Bears watching, but not sure if they are evil or just too busy to keep up with the sick kid (which I empathize with, my son's been sick too).

I don't think Corylover is a stalker...I don't think Ogre is a stalker.

Coler...well he seems to have disappeared, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him and definitely going to be keeping an eye on him, if he posts again.

RB...not sure, I could be convinced either way to be honest.

HN...also really not sure, I could see him going either way.

JM, Jpap, JL, BKW, Plant...I am inclined to believe they are innocent until proven guilty.

That gives me for a list, 2 that are probably stalkers (Beth & LG)...1 possible (Enya), and a few maybes (Coler, RB & HN).

If I was to name the remaining 5 stalkers it would be: Beth, LG, Enya, Coler and RB.

I know I don't have a lot of posts this game, but I hope that you can all see I am aiming for quality > quantity with my limited time.

I vote to toss Beth into the zone

I left out a thought and realized that a part of that didn't make sense. IF Jensons is actually a stalker, then I think LG's using it as a chance to distance herself.

Ok, here are my thoughts on all the players (with numbers 1=innocent; 10=mafia):

bethkira2000-Something doesn't sit well with me about you. My gut feelings say "stalker"...but I don't have any real proof of that. But I do follow my gut alot. 7

iceh2o-Nothing really on you, but I'm leaning innocent. 4.5

lady g-I feel the same about you as I do with beth, but not to the same extent. 6

johnlarson66-Your posts do not look evil. I think you are innocent. 3.5

bkw1982-No read yet. 5

jpappy789-Same as bkw. 5

rbishop-Your posts are interesting...sorta like last game (well at least the beginning of it when I was still around). Don't really know. 5

enya432-Correct me if I'm wrong...but haven't you just posted a couple times or so? You need to get into the game. I believe you maybe are a stalker, and your team mates have asked you to lay low, because they don't want you revealing yourself. 6

judgemax-No read yet. 5

ogremkv-Ok, you may have been cleared by most people because of the numbers incident, but...I don't know. I think you just saying there was four and there is actually six...doesn't really mean anything IMO. If I were a stalker, I would want to make the town think there was less then there actually were, so it would make it more difficult for them, and they would get confused. Plus, I still don't like it how you jumped on me so fast for that statement. 7

Hooked-Slightly bad gut feeling about you, nothing else though. 5.5

Plant-No read yet. 5

Jensons-Another fishy character. Some of the posts you have made seem off and 'fishy' (no pun intended :grinyes:). 6

Coler-Where have you went? In other games you were much more active if I recall correctly...now you are very quiet. 6

Umm, if you'll go back and read my posts you'll see I posted my concerns about Grace pretty early and even after I voted Ogre. CL did not and still does not appear Mafia to me. And honestly, I was in a rush to go cook dinner so did not realize CL had that many votes.

Yep, the throw away votes are bothering me as well. I'm chiefly concerned with Judge and Enya. Unless they can convince me otherwise or a better suspect comes to light, I will prolly vote one of them next.
 
Yeah us!!!!

Do I have to be the one to point out that I was curious about Grace during the Ogre train? Guess so. Why would I do that if Scum? Pretty bold for a distancing tactic, dontcha think?

My top scary-types are:

LadyG: No reason to hunt me, lovely lady. I've done nothing to you.

Ice: Again, not a good reason, other than I'm a good scapegoat.

Beth: Don't like your posts. They seem insincere and largely pulled from other's previously posted ideas.

RB: has dropped a bit, but I'm watching. He didn't really respond to being voted, and has "chilled out" his posts.

Praise Bala, I will survive to help heal AC of this horrible Alien threat to our safety.

Well, when I left AC earlier...had planed on coming back and going through post and trying to shake a few trees down...Unfortunatly my computer had other plans for me, I JUST got it running again and I have lost everything on my computer....Pictures, videos, documents EVERYTHING!!!!

To those of you saying I am following ICE...whatever, when have I EVER followed anyone, I post my thoughts and thats how it goes...not my fault we happen to feel the same.

Anyway this is all I have at the moment as it is now 3am, I'm beat and very...very depressed about loosing everything on my computer.

Take my posts as you will, think I am following whatever you want but you are wrong...I am following no one, and not "attaching" myself to anyone.
 
I tend to believe that none of the stalkers were on Grace, though I could be wrong. I am not a big beleiver in the evils giving up one of there own. I have seen it in other games, but it usually happens much later in a game when the numbers have dropped and they start to lose the ability to sway opinions and votes.

I need to go back and review the timing of the votes and resultant vote switches. Some were done when additional info came out and were reasonable at the time. Others I feel had no basis at all except possibly or the stalkers to disperse and cast the impession they were agreeing with someone others felt were innocents.
 
For now, I still have my concerns over Ogre....not giving him a clean bill so readily.

As normal Ice, Jensons and bkw will stay of concern to me.

There were 6 stalkers. All 6 could have controlled the voting. If CL is also a stalker, then they made a choice to make it a cion toss. They could have went on rbishop.

I will read thru the posts some more, but I am suprised grace did not have more votes and it was a coin toss. I do not think the stalkers would give up one of their own on the first night.

While it would be awesome to do it, I just do not see it happening. I highly doubt that any of the people listed as voting for Grace are stalkers. btw, my name being on that list has nothing to do with it. I just do not think stalkers would give up one of their own on day one. Many of us have posted about this on other games, even with the 50/50 miss odds, most everyone thought it was not worth the risk.

The only one could have been CL and he voted to save himself. At this point I have him and everyone else on the list leaning innocent.

I am a little suspicous of Ice at this point. Lady G and Jensons have me concerned. I wonder if Jensons had more votes if Ice and Lady G would have stayed on her.

To answer your question NO, my vote would of stayed right where it was! As I said Ices vote had nothing to do with mine, I already stated my reason...but will add it agian if you like. I started the post before I had finished supper....while having supper thought more about it and decided she was my best choice at the time, came back on and there where only like 15 minutes till nightfall...honestly I just finished the post I had started and posted it, it wasn't until after that did I see Ice had voted her also.

See above, I do not think it was a throw away vote really...how is it if someone isn't on with everyone else on a DAY ONE a throw away??? Yes, as the game progresses, and we all agree "lets go after 2-3" YES that would be a throw away IMO. Which btw, I think may be a good idea....anyone up for that?

My top choices would be...Jensons, Corey, COLER, btw what gives Coler???

I will not be on today until later....have to go get a USB, so I can try and restore my files I lost.
