I found this great site for apple snails (m)

and of course I get all excited about ordered half a dozen snails - and then I realize (after several emails) they are no longer in business .

I'm really looking for some fun & colorful snails - anyone else know of a site where they are sold? ( the site is: http://home.mchsi.com/~masts/snail_bucket.htm )

I was hoping for a peppermint striped, a violet, a magenta, a walnut, an ivory, an asolene spixi, a burgandy & a jade.

I have golds and jades right now, waiting on 3 clutches to hatch from a breeding experiment I have been doing. Hopefully the new clutches will have dark purple striped, magenta striped, ivory, and burgundy babies. I will let you know as soon as I am able to determine their colors. In the mean time, if you are to eager to wait a month to six weeks (which I could totally understand, apple snails are outstanding!), you could check over at www.applesnail.net where there are many people with snails that need homes. They have a classifieds section as well. You may have a more difficult time getting spixis (unless you can find them in your own state) as they are a restricted species and its very difficult to impossible to get shipping permits for them. Good luck! Snails are wonderful additions!
