Mafia #36 Recruitment Thread, Who do you trust?

Yes I'm in.

I want to use my Sniper hit on Ogre. ;)

You're just jealous of my mad... ness.

Wait...does the corrupter ever know they are the corrupter? If someone else becomes the corrupter does the corrupter know they have been non corrupted or whatever?? I'm not getting that part either...so if you ARE the corrupter and you do not know it, then your are picked the game ends and you never even knew you were the corrupter until it is over????

This is going to be weird, but simple.

Hmmm...If the corrupter doesn't know they are corrupt how do we try to get a read on anyone? How about if the corrupter knows they are corrupt but if they reveal their identity at any point they UD and you select a new one. Just a suggestion. I guess we'll see how it plays out.

I'm not getting how the corrupter doesn't know their role. Why would they want to reveal their role? If the corrupter doesn't know they are to corrupt and when others become corrupt how will they communicate with the new corrupted?

So basically we all post drivel, "vote" each night, investigate after the 3rd night until Pix tells us the game is over?

Hey Pix- Say through some magical method of deduction we figure out who the Corruptor or corrupted is. Can we do anything about it?

Okay once there is more than one corrupter and there is communication can the newly corrupted tell the original corrupter that he/she is the corrupter.

Still don't know how to play, But throw me in the water, I'll either sink or drown.

I'm in

The first day is there for you to use, as you will. It's up to the town to decide if, or how, you will work together.

In the rules, 'How to win' if the town has decided that they know who the corrupter is, the town, must name their suspect. If the town gets it right, the game is over. If the town gets it wrong, a second Corrupter is generated (via another quick and dirty shell script that I wrote).

In the event of the generation of another Corrupter, the town will be notified that there are now two. In order to win in this scenario, the town must name the original corrupter. If the town names the second Corrupter, the 2nd Corrupter is changed back to a normal citizen. The 2nd Corrupter cannot become corrupted, while acting as a corrupter.

I've played games like this, in person, and they are fun, but do require coordination and thought.

The original Corrupter does not know that they are the 'bad apple'.

If someone else becomes a 2nd Corrupter, the also will not be aware of the fact.

If someone becomes corrupted, or 'turned' by trusting a Corrupter, they will be notified. Corrupted people can communicate with each other.

This is a game of tactics and coordination, where it's in everyone's best interest to work as a team.

I only partially answered your question.

1. If you figure out who the Corrupter is, you can win the game.
2. If you figure out who has become corrupted, you can use them as a clue to the identity of the Corrupter. Once corrupted, you cannot become uncorrupted.
