My water sprite is starting to grow above the water should i cut it back or just leave it be i will find my charger tonight and post pics tomorrow

you shuold see the guppy grass that i cleared out last week

its odd alot of the water wprite has roots growing off of the stems its like a tree i know of a hybrid poplar they do that you just cut off a branch and stick it in the ground and next thing you know you have a new tree they grow over 1' a year sorry al that is of subject

if it doesnt block any light then you can leave it be for a while. But if it is blocking light/tops melting from the light, then you can give it a trim and replant the cuttings.

I do need to trim it and to a lil rescaping there is alot of water sprite on the right side of the tank ALOT ALOT

I raised the light up a bit so it doesn't burn the plant

I have had no luck with my watersprite adter two weeks it always died.

It will most likely dry out and turn yellow if left above the water to long. I say cut it back and plant the trimming elsewhere, or give/sell it ..
