Yes that's true but doesn't this hinge on everyone joining in. I'm more inclined to choose my own investigation I know duplication is a factor but like said any way you approach this there's a downside. Duplication is the lesser evil.

BKW one of is missing something, let's say X is the medic and we assign her to investigate Y who is a snitch. If X does not identify Y as a snitch (and without an investigation X just can't know this) than Y knows that X has not investigated him and concludes form this that X is the medic. The beatdown follows and we lose the medic.
Well, if they do find the Medic or Spy...and it looks as if they would be shanked, I would think that person would come out and say they are the Medic or Spy. Of course then we would have to decide together which person we would believe.acctually, i have been. to me, the investigations can be a very vital tool to root out the snitches. the only real problem has to do with the trust factor. if a snitch were to find the doctor or the spy and report them as a snitch, the doctor or spy would surely be shanked.
Ok, that would be fine on the first couple nights...but then once we have a lost a couple of our own, it would be a big advantage to the snitches...they could possibly get two innocents one night, then we take one of theirs I do not like those odds personally.I see what you're saying pap but if anyone is found lying they are gone next. There can't be more than 5 or 6 snitches right?
Or they could just say "the person I investigated was innocent"...IF it wasn't known who they investigated. I don't like the plan and wont be following it personally. There could easily be 2 snitch names in a row, possible more then 2 really...that would give them a "pass" so to say. Lets say I was a snitch ok, the person under me is also...or the person above me is...or there is the off chance they both are...well my name would not come out because the person who was suppose to investigate me is a snitch also, this would give others a false "security" about me so to say...then we also have to trust everyone investigated the person they were "assigned", I have way to hard of a time trusting anyone in this game to do this plan really. Sorry guys...I just do not like it. I understand the worry of everyone investigating the same person which would maybe not gain us much, but the down side I just don't like it. I could see MAYBE everyone putting up like 3 names they would choose from and going from there. Then we also no matter what have the possiblity...lets say I find a snitch, I annouce "so and so is a snitch" now whos to say a team mate of those wont come back and say...no I investigated that person and they are innocent. The more I think about it the more I think it is a good idea just to keep it to yourself until you know something.Well I guess the solution to that would be for everyone who finds an innocent to post that they forgot to run their investigation. At least that would give the medic someplace to blend in.
even if that person is you?in that case what we will be doin is trading the medic for a snitch and information. So we get the snitch above the medic and any other snitches found.
2nd option can be done to save the medic is that the innocent that is recruited will investigate the person above the medic for them...of course that person will sac themself....but we saved the medic.
Im fine in either case.
even if that person is you?
Then whoever is labeled as a medic or spy will definitely be next in line for the beat down. Even if they end up just being an innocent, the snitches still end up getting the upper hand by taking that person out. then, in that night they have the possibility of getting rid of the medic (spy) and another innocent.Well, if they do find the Medic or Spy...and it looks as if they would be shanked, I would think that person would come out and say they are the Medic or Spy. Of course then we would have to decide together which person we would believe.

but even then, it could work either way.Dupicate investigations may not be a bad thing either really....I mean yes it would be bad if say half the ppl investigated the same person, but if more then one person has investigated someone and a snitch is found, it could work to our advantage also, say you found a snitch..you come out and say it, then a snitch tries to say "no way that is who I investigated and they are innocent"...well if someone else really has investigated that person also, they could come out and say..."wait a minute, I investigated them also and YES, they are a snitch"
