Anyone Still use Dial-up?

I don't have cable tv, satallite tv, or High speed internet.
To run cabe to my house costs almost $5000. Highspeed internet is $90 a month and DSl is $50. My dial up costs $10.
Nobody has any empathy for us dialup users.

Fios? I'm still waiting for Verizon to get it ready in my area, **** they're slow.
Residential FIOS isn't true FIDI but because it is partial they are selling you a bill of goods that isn't completely what they say it is. Soon the ad campaigns will start claiming fiber optic speeds and in the small print you will find that to get it you have to pay an astronomical amount.Not to mention the capping that will place the subscriber is an awkward position financially.

HA!! just kiddin.. My mom lives next door to me. She's got dial up. Whenever she has a computer problem I have to fix it. There is nooooo Way I could ever go bact to dial up. I'd sell my car, and walk to work first...

I do have DSL, its 1/4 of the cost of a cable modem. I dont download videos or games, so DSL is fine.
In rural parts of South Dakota my relatives only have access to dialup. Somehow, they manage.
Someone should do a poll on who uses cable modem, DSL, WiFi and dailup.
