My lighting fixture has one spot for a bulb, and I can't afford to upgrade, so I am hoping that there exists a 24" fluorescent bulb that is between 40 - 60 watts. Anyone know of one? the cheaper the better.
thank you!
thank you!
I don't think so. 24" fixtures hold 18" bulbs that are 15 Watts. You can purchase a 24" twin tube fixture and get 30 Watts out if it though. The only way to get higher wattage out of that fixture is to retro fit it with CFLs. I'm not sure how to do that and if you find out let me know.
The coralife would not work in your fixture. Do you have a T12 bulb? You're stuck with 20 watts unless you get a new hood or light strip.
