its black sand. Forgot the exact brand :lipssealedsmilie:Man, that is a very awesome tank! I wish I could get my 2.5g to look like yours.
Btw, whats your substrate?
Bk, can you tell me how you have the filter/light arranged for your 2.5? I have the same tank and it came with a glass canopy, but the problem is that the canopy covers the entire top of the tank and doesn't allow space for any wires/tubing/hob filters to lead out of the tank. Are you using the canopy or is it open-top?
lol what ever works man.. I have a clip on reflector but its 2 tall to fit under the rack.Dude, that is totally some ghetto lighting.
Can't believe you didn't even spring for the $6 clip on reflector from Home Depot
lol shhh im trying to grow red root in there as well.. so far the light has been good to it so hey must be good for the whole tank..I'm not laughing!!!!!!hehehe :lipssealedsmilie:
Hey if it works, who cares???hehehe
Yee only if i had another tank.. but no more space/$/timeI just took 2 2.5 tanks and put them side by side and put a 24" light strip. over the top of both . Please forgive my bad photography.
Thanks Bunnyhahaha! BK that light is awesome. Very creative!
