My daughter and her family went away at Christmas and had someone coming in to take care of their fish tanks. She has a 55 gal. with assorted african cichlids. She also has a 10 gal. fish tank with 8 or 9 juvenile peacocks, about the size of a quarter. About 2 wks. before they were to leave, they cycled a 10 gal. tank and moved the babies from the breeding tank, to the 10 gal. tank. During the 2 weeks before they left, everything was going fine. The babies were growing with no forseen problems. They were gone for a week, and when they got back, all of the babies had died. They tested the water perameters, and the water was fine, no sign of problems there. The temperature in the tank was also where it should have been. It is a complete mystery. Does anyone have any ideas what could or might have happened?
