First off 110 gallon 48"x18"30" dimensions

I have Ludwigia,Rotala Magenta,Moneywort, and Hornwort. Probably going to put more plants in also.

My question is I need a better lighting setup right now just have a 48" single fluorscent fixture 40watts that remind me of the ones i see that are from all glass company.

I've been asking around trying to come up with ideas. I don't want to do co2 and probably not ferts either.

here's one set up i seen

but I'm hoping for suggestions or other setups too thanks in advance

I recommend this 4x54watt T5 HO - http://www.catalinaaquarium.com/product_info.php?cPath=71_136&products_id=1423

If you do order this, call them and have them swap the actinic bulbs for 6700k or 10000K.

Plus if you want to stay lowlight, you would just need to run 2 outta the 4 bulbs, and if you ever want to go with CO2, you have 2 more bulbs on reserve.

Basically if you choose another fixture, stay with either T5HO with an individual reflector or Metal Halide, since you have a very deep tank.

The plants would prefer the 6700 and will grow faster and bigger, but 6700 is a little too yellow for my liking.
I have only 6700 over my 100gal.

It looks like the second one the silver one the legs and shield are included where as the other looks like you have to pay extra

Thats makes it a much better deal, since a shield and legs is about $20 on its own.
