I raised these from eggs, I got the eggs at a meeting of a local aquarium club in PA that I visited from NY when they had Jeff Senske presenting- a very famous aquscaper. At the end of the meeting there was an auction of donated items. I wanted to support the club who spent the money to host Jeff's seminar (not cheap), and the jerk (Glenn, are you out there?) from my local club who was sitting next to me when they announced Axolotl eggs- I said to him, what's an axolotl? He says its a killie fish. Okay, I like a surprise and I always want to grow out fry, so I bid them up.

I'm in NYC,NY and I have just up graded from 3 20 gal. to 1 90 gal. all Guppy x Endlers hybrids.So in other words....that leaves me with quite a few empty 20 gal. tanks.I have always wanted an Axolotl Mexicanum. I can provide beer if that will help me get them.Lol.

ha! aw man i've wanted these ever since i first saw a photo of them. i live in williamsburg and can arrange to meet you anytime for pick up. i can offer cash or beer or hows this, a private tour of the met on mondays when its closed (i work there) or whatever. currently have a 75 gallon setup plants only and no livestock. also have all kinds of empty tanks lying around.
