Went home after a vacation for a week and saw to my amusement 2-3 pairs of assassins mating. I simply shrugged it off since they've been doing that for weeks already before I even left for my trip. Saw most of my plants destroyed by the cana meant to be assassin food but the cana already doubled in size so I threw him to a brig tank.:perv:

I examined my tank today and saw for the first time eggs scattered around plants and immediately recognized them as the assassin snails'.:nilly: It took me over 2 months already to wait for them to lay eggs.:headbang2:

Wonderful news, Lupin. Nice job!

CONGRATS!!!!!!
i bet you're pretty dang excited lol :D
assassins are really pretty snails, good job lupin :)

Thanks, guys.:D I just hope I can sustain enough number of assassins. Some people have been wanting them badly and they refused to buy from other stores as the stores were charging them for more than the actual amount. I bought the four assassins that were charged more than that. Just didn't want them to go to some idiots who think assassins are cleanup crews for algae and poo just like other snails.:irked:

I didn't know the Philippines had access to assassin snails. Where do you go for the good stores there anyway? I didn't find any good ones when I was there :-( I stayed in Manila too! I would think that's where all the good stores are at. I wanted to bring back nerites, seeing as how cliton coronas are suppose to be native there or something. Well, I know some kind of clithon was native there.

How much does the assassin snail cost there, in terms of pesos?

Congrats, I had eggs as soon as I just got mine lol
