Yesterday we went on a little hike in a local park called Skunk Hollow. We always go there for field trips and stuff from my school, so I thought it would be nice just to go and walk around there since it's so nice. We are also going to be doing a big restoration project here in a few weeks where we will make new signs/maps, rip out invasive plants (burning bush, multiflora rose, privette, etc.) and plant native ones in their place. Also, we wil be trying to attract wildlife species to the park by putting in nest boxes, fox dens, and things of that nature. Oh, and the reason it's called Skunk Hollow is because of all the skunk cabbage (which I made sure to get pictures of). So... enjoy!
