my brother gets alot of attention, but he just wants to annoy me...he probably doesn't know any better...he thinks EVERYTHING'S funny.

very young kids are like that. be patient, stern, but fair, and try to give him an idea of whats right and wrong. if hes like any little kid ive seen, he looks up to you, and if youre stern but not threatening he should tone it down.

I agree w/MsJinkzed... he's looking for attention... and that means he looks up to and values you! He wants to be your friend, it's just hard for him to express it in an appropriate manner.
I recommend going outside and playing catch, basketball, tag, anything active with your brother. It will help you feel more calm, you may even enjoy playing with him, and it will help fulfill his desire to spend time with you.
Siblings are hard, but your relationship will become better as both of you grow older. Just try to nurture your relationship now when it is young, and it will get better and better!

Hi Angie. This is all part of being a big sister. You're not a parent or his babysitter... but he is a very young little guy who has a lot to learn as he grows up. And he needs you to be there for him.
Do the best you can and don't let the annoying things he does get the best of you. He's your little brother... he's supposed to annoy you. lol.

ok...i don't really have much time to spend, in 5th grade our teachers have us read at least 3 hours a day and i get home from school at 2:40 pm. i finish my minimum reading time at 5:00.Then I have to take a shower, then i have dinner, brush my teeth, and do whatever i want in 45 min...the hit the sack.
now i feel old...im an aunt...ann...i mean anuarisa just had her baby boy...& im only 11!! GOD!! She's like too young!!!!

Which, despite possible misinterpretation, means he is not eduacted. He has the ability to learn. You have a chance to help educate him. Hopefully you can contribute to teaching him right from wrong in a positive way and be a positive influence in his life. Try not to be so hard on him, he loves you thus he seeks out your attention.
